How to Clean the Inside of Your Bottle

Is there green algae growing on the inside of your plastic or glass bottles?

Get rid of the unsightly algae using our simple, non-toxic, and safe cleaning formula that will leave your bottle looking like new again!

Add the Ingredients to Your Bottle
  • Mix in your bottle equal parts Water and White Vinegar. About 1 cup of each for big bottles, less for smaller bottles.
  • Add in few spoonfuls of Baking Soda. About 1-2 tablespoons for big bottles, less for smaller bottles.
  • Lastly, add Uncooked Rice (or lentils, or any small and hard grain). About 1/2 cup for big bottles, less for smaller bottles.
Cleaning and Scrubbing the Inside of Your Bottle
  • Add all of the ingredients in your bottle, put the cap on and then shake the bottle well.
  • The vinegar and baking soda mixture will be disinfect the inside of the bottle and the rice will scrub the inside of your bottle as you shake it around.
  • Make sure to pay attention to areas where green algae might be growing.
  • Drain the mixture and rinse with clean water until all of the mixture is gone.
  • Now you're ready to use your bottles again!
